The Inevitable has been avoided?

In the photo above is Abraham Lincoln, 16th president of the United States. Lincoln lead a vital role in the freeing of African-Americans during the 1800’s by helping pass the 13th amendment which led to the eventual freeing of slaves in America.

Most can agree that Lincoln was a great man and had great influence in America during his time. But alas all good things must come to an end. On April 14th 1865 John Wilkes Booth assassinated Lincoln while he was at Ford Theater in Washington.

But why? Why would someone kill someone with such good intentions? Another example would be the assassination of MLK or Gandhi. They were great men who achieved great things but why must they be punished for bringing out the good in the world?

On November 5th an assassination attempt was conducted on presidential candidate Donald J. Trump during a rally in Reno. As Trump was giving a speech a man in the crowd began yelling “He’s got a gun” and immediately security restrained the man now known as 33 year old Austyn Crites and immediately took him to interrogation.

Austyn being detained and removed from the rally

Many great men have been killed because of one simple fact. You can stop slavery. You can stop racism and segregation. You can stop inequality in a country and even make peace in the world but there is one simple fact that cannot be ignored. Man cannot stop a bullet.

As it later turns out the suspect was not attempting an assassination as he wasn’t armed or even posed a threat. Which causes many questions to emerge from the situation. The man who claimed to be a “nonviolent protester” came to a Trump rally to protest. He caused a huge scene and almost had the rally be over and done with.

But of course Trump returned five minutes after to finish his speech and thank his security for ensuring his life wasn’t on the line  “Nobody said it was going to be easy for us. But we will never be stopped. Never, never be stopped. I want to thank the Secret Service. These guys are fantastic. They don’t get enough credit. They don’t get enough credit. They’re amazing people.” stated Trump.

Just as this happened you have to also think of the important consequences this could have had. Such as the rally being cancelled or Trump leaving the premises being unable to finish his speech.

As we narrow down to November 8th more and more ludicrous acts will be acted upon in order to stop Trump. They’ve went as far as attempting to stop a rally. What’s next? We don’t know to what lengths they will go to stop him. But what we do know is, nothing can Stump The Trump.
